Infographic rationale
The message is aimed at the fans of the olympic games and the kids right now who train to be the next generation of athletes in the olympic games.
I choose the upcoming athletes because in my infographic I am showing them not to cheat because there are a ton of drug tests every olympic, and if you get caught you get stripped off your medal and sent home in disgrace. I also choose the olympic fans because these are the people who would want to know a lot about the olympics and my infographic can help them.
The main message of my infographic is that people start to know more about Ben Johnson's 1988 scandal then they do about Usian Bolt being the quickest man alive, this is because humans are quicker to criticise then they are to compliment. This relates to my mission statement because when people read about the doping in the olympics and didn't know about it before, they start to realize that the olympics is a different place full of cheaters because not everyone gets caught.
I used pathos because there emotions towards the olympics change from loving the entertainment to hating it because of all the cheaters and you don't know who is cheater, making it harder to love.
I think that my infographic looks a bit childish with the animated icons and looks less profesional meaning it doesn't seem very trustworthy but everything has been cited. If I had more resources such as money, I could've used one of the premium templates, meaning it would look better.
If I had chosen the current athletes as an audience, then I would change it to more this time and era so that they can know what happens in the other events, other than their event.
